Observation Area At Sea?

Tue May 08, 2001 7:44 am

Since they closed view point park, there is no good place to spot around SEA, besides at TYEE golf course and at the North end of the airport. Does anybody know if there will be another viewing area or anything of that sort? Thanks..

I am also bummed out about the observation park being closed. I wrote to the Port of Seattle (the group that runs the airport) public relations person and she wrote to me that there are no immediate plans to replace the view park with anothe spotting venue. Seems to me there are many other pressing matters with large and influential or noisy constituencies that get alot more press. Thats what we need, some press, anyone know a reporter at the Seattle Times?
