Right now, there is not any scheduled 747 service by United into Denver...at least none to and from IAD, ORD, SFO and LAX. BOS and MIA do not get the 747, and we do not fly to JFK from Denver.

If you want to flly on a UAL 747 domesticly, you would have to fly from IAD to LAX or the other way around.

Heavy Maintence on the 747 is preformed at the Maintence Base in Oakland California. Currently, no heavy maintence is preformed at Denver. Denver is a line maintence station.

Light Maintenance I suppose.

Any International Flights to and from Denver using a B 747-400?

DEN-LAX?
Really?
Can you tell me the flight number? I know that there was a 747 on this route, and a 747 to ORD in March, but in April and May? Non-existant. I could be wrong, but it doesnt seem to be showing up in the United system right now.

Maybe I'm wrong. I remember there used to be 747 on that route a few months ago. Pardon me if I posted outdated info.

Umm...

First thing...its line maintence. Also, there are no 747 A or B checks in Denver, certainly no C-Checks. HMVs or D-checks are done at OAKMB. If there is a 747 out of service there, then DENMB would see it, but other than that, they dont fix 747s there. SFO is the big 747 line maintence station.

Watewate,

No problem. I know that there were a few 747s at Denver, going to LAX and ORD, but now, I belive that those trips have been replaced with 777s.

There were once a great deal of 747 flights to Denver... 1-2 years ago, with United (to SEA, SFO, LAX, ORD, and IAD at various times), British Airways (LGW), and Korean Air (SFO-SEL). There are currently none.

Korean Air has left Denver

British Airways has switched to the B777-200ER

United currently only flies B767-300 and B777-200 jumbos to Denver, these along with double B757-200 flights replaced the B747-400s.

I think there's one that goes DEN-SFO-HNL, and that's for sure.

An-225, there are no 747 flights between DEN and SFO, and the only 747 flight to Honolulu is from Tokyo.

Ummm...

You should probably learn how to spell maintenance before you go about correcting others.
