Hello Polair,
Not to sound rude or anything however if you want to become a pilot, at this stage in the game you do not only look at one airline you look at all the ones possible!

well dude if and when youre ready for that i would suggest going down to your aviation book store and picking up the CX pilot hiring guide that is available. It's written by a CX pilot and gives you a good idea of what to expect. IT is also VERY expensive. I know here in Canada it's close to 100$ a it's not even hard bound. I have friends who fly there and it's quite a process and can be very technical. I also agree with the others that you should NOT limit your job search, it's great to target a few carriers for the long term goal but look everywhere or you'll get nowhere.

Get at least 1000 hrs including some turboprop time and apply, or ask for info from Cathay:

Andrea Lucas
Recruitment Department
3/F Cathay Pacific City,
8 Scenic Rd.,
Hong Kong International Airport.
Hong Kong.

good luck!!
