Does Emirates Fly The 777 To Manchester?

Mon May 14, 2001 1:41 am

Could someone please tell me if EK flies the 777 to MAN
Or is it primarily the A330. I've found two pics on the database, of the 777 at MAN.

Its sched to be an A330high density, but due to VERY HIGH demand on the route, it sometimes is operated by B777high density.Dont be surprised to see it become a 777 operation before becoming 2 daily A330 flights. Emirates777 knows more though.

before the A332 introduces, EK did use B772 on the route from Manchester to Dubai via Zurich, and became non-stop there after.
I saw it many times in Manchester Airport in 1998, right before the introduction of new A332.

I'm booked on this flight in July, and its an A330. I'll also be flying on EK's 777 from Dubai to Bangkok!

Normally I go to NCL, but sometimes I pop down to MAN, BHX and LHR.
I like to take an interest in UK aviation and I know that MAN is a very busy route for EK, with loads this year of over 90%. Emirates777 knows more about the EK traffic into MAN though.

MAN will probably go double daily when EK takes delivery of more A330's.

actually I visited quite a lot in Man airport, when i was doing my degree in Manchester 3 yrs ago. I am very impressed about the encourage of the local government, for providing such a wonderful facilities over both MAN and LHR in UK. I feel really frustrated about the new airport in Hong kong, they even don't provide a place for plane spotting, all you can do is to walk for 10-15 mins near the security gate, and there is no higher-level platform, no shelter, no food and drink, no flight information. HKG makes you feel 'unattented'.
