Md80 727 Pilots Out There

I just want to know is the 727 going to be around when i am able to fly and i am 14 right know also could you give me any info on flying the md80 and how long are the flights also could you tell me about how is the airline you work for and what is the best to you . thanks

Most likely not due to stage 4 noise abatment.

That will likely spell the end of the 727. Stage 4 goes into effect in 2008 I think though I'm not positive.

I fly the 727 and it will be a shame when they are finally gone. It is such a nice airplane to fly.

Flights on the 727 are usually between 1.5 and 4 hours.

THe best thing about the 727 is that you really have to fly it. Just like that 172 or Warrior you will learn in.
