SIA WAS Going To Fly S. America

Tue May 22, 2001 9:32 am

I just saw this news item from Nov. 1996. It said that SIA will launch new non-stop flight from US to Argentina, Brazil and Chile.

Why did this decision halted afterwards?

Hmm... No one can recall their memory back to 1996? And the news was actually released in June 1996, not November 1996.

When did they say they were going to start the routes? In any case, now that SQ is in STAR, I can't see them flying to South America in the near future, as they could just codeshare on RG or UA.
