Some Cabins Have A Row W/ No Window?

Tue May 22, 2001 3:21 pm

Why is this, I see in a lot of planes there's a row where a window is skipped and there's just a wall, what the heck is that about? My seat assignment the other day on an AS 734 was one of those rows, so I said screw this and went to the back! Luckily the flight was empty. Anyways, thanks...

The gap in the windows on B737-300/400/500/600/700/800/900 is due to the fact that air conditioning ducts run through this area of the cabin walls
