Lapsa = Saeta?

According to the photo those two companies from Urguay and Equador have close relations, but what kind?

Lapsa was from Paraguay, not Uruguay. I believe that they both had the same parent company which is why their liveries were similar. Unfortunately, both are dead now.

In addition, I believe that the 2 companies interchanged aircraft too. I think they had some aircraft that were painted on one side Lapsa colors and on the side in Saeta colors.

Saeta of Ecuador actually brought the majority stake in Lineas Aereas Paraguayas when it was privatized. But it was a very bad investment which later finished.
