PHL Terminal Question

Thu May 24, 2001 11:29 pm

Does anybody know at which part of PHL's main terminal building Northwest and United aircraft are parked?

The fact is, I've been looking at PHL webcam for a few days now (camera 1), and I'd like to find out where this camera is situated. It seems like it's placed upon the pier where Northwest aircraft and National Airlines aircraft are parked. On the opposite pier, United aircraft are parked. The camera also shows the control tower on the opposite side of RWY 9L/27R.

I've downloaded and printed a PHL Airport Diagram, and I think it's somewhere between C and D.

Can anybody help me out?

It's probably between Terminals D and E. United uses D, and Northwest (and National, I believe) both use E.

US Airways also uses D to an extent, as does AirTran, and TWA, Air France, and Delta also use E.

Terminals D (United, CO and some US) and E (NW, DL, AF,TW, National). The relatively new tower is across the airport on the other side of the runways and taxi.
