ANZ & A330

Tue May 29, 2001 10:08 pm

With Qantas apparently going to take some stake in Air New Zealand. Will that mean, with ANZ's upcoming fleet order, that they will purchase the A330s, so to share fleet commonality with Qantas?

From what I heard, QANTAS was looking for every economical reason to buy 777's. However, when the A380 came into the picture, they weren't able to make a case for the 777 and went with the A330 instead, sort of a comprimise(one that I take delight in). So if QF does invest in ANZ, the A330 might not have as good a shot as one might expect.
