Question About SR Fleet Refinishing

Wed May 30, 2001 10:26 pm

I'm curious to know if Swissair is continuing with the project of repainting its fleet in the new blue belly Qualiflyer color scheme. Also, it is my understanding that the painting of the SR logo on the A330 winglets has been discontinued. Is that correct? Not terribly important questions, but I'm just curious.
It's a new day. Every moment matters. Now, more than ever.

RE: Question About SR Fleet Refinishing

All Qualiflyer airline members have cancelled the implementation of the Qualiflyergroup blue belly concept. This because of the heavy losses within the SAir group. Several airlines felt to change their exterior paint scheme design due to the Qualiflyer blue belly concept regulations. LTU was changing its fleet already to a new paint scheme but changed again to the former livery as the blue belly project was cancelled. Swissair is concidering to change the winglets into Swissair-look winglets (like the tailfins).
