Who Will Be The New 764 Operator?

Wed May 30, 2001 11:58 pm

Who do you think will be the new 767-400ER operator?
I think AA or UAL have a great chance.

I guess another US carrier, something like AA, UA or ATA.
But maybe it could be a charter operator which needs the high capacity.

I read a blurb that ATA was looking at them to replace their L-1011s.

Since then, I've read that ATA will use the 757-300s to replace their L-1011s.

Can the 757-300s truly carry widebody load over the distance of the current ATA L-1011 routes?
