Nice one Boeing. I guess they have a family thing going on as well as Airbus. Especially pleased to see the 747-400 still selling.

Will the 767 have a "777" interior? I know Boeing are building the 762 and stretch-too-far 764 with the 777 interior, but I haven't heard about the 763. Makes sense I guess.

hi
actual GN sole 742-combi "president Leon M'ba" is registered:" F-something"
so here are my 2 cents on the undisclosed financing plans: we,french tax payers, are going to finance all this, as usual.

HA! That's probably true Varig md-11. And subsidize the profit loss on whatever route they use the 744 on too.

hi
R.I.P. TWA
the 744-combi will probably be used on the LBV-LGW-CDG route...the only route where they can use it with an appropriate load factor, as it's the case with today's "president Leon M'ba"!!

Great news for Boeing! I saw it on the website and wondered why nobody mentioned it here. But after a search I found it. Did anyone else notice the 737 with winglets? That wasn't mentioned in the article. Will the 737-700 have winglets? I know it's in the process of being certified for commercial use but...just curiours? It does look like an -800 though.

Hello,
Currently only the -800 has been selected with the winglets, but Boeing will put winglets on a -600, -700 or -900 if requested by an airline. Although, I think it is more practicle to winglet the -900, rather than the -600 or -700, seeing both of those models have a large range. One would also have to look at the extra weight produced by the winglets on the smaller "baby" versions.

Is that the B 747-400 Combi (Longer Range), or the original B 747-400?

Why do airlines STILL order the 1989 B 747-400, when they have the B 747-400LR available?

All 767s are available with the new 777-style interior, but I don`t know if Air Gabon will select it for their 763..
The LR 744 is more expensive and if Air Gabon don`t need the extra range, why bother?

3 weeks ago Air Gabons 742 arrived at the same time at CDG as I did. The flight was full. So much for "subsidizing"-rumpours for the new 744 coming.
