Can A340-200 Used L2 To Off/upload?

Mon Jun 04, 2001 5:46 pm

L1 or L2 door is usually used for A342? Since A342 is shorter than A343, L2 on A342 is more closer to the wing than L2 on A343. As I observe, for A343, the bridge is already very close to the wing if L2 is used. So is it possible to use L2 on A342 as well? Or that L1 has to be used?

p.s. the bridge could hit the wing if the bridge is too close.

It is not that close to the wing.

However, I think it is impossible to use L2 on a 747SP, as the door is over the wing.
