Thanks for the info in the internals, so we won't see the fancy lighting changes that should happen at mach1.0 until later.
This would mean that the basic fittings can be put in PDQ when the CofA is given back?
My Dates were from piecing together from what BA, Michellin and the Working group have said to the press in the past few weeks, eg Working group said last week that they expect BA test flight with in weeks and BA said few weeks ago that it was taking longer but other would take around 6 weeks for the other aircraft. The BIG unknown if if the tests will be successful or not, or if other work will be needed. This is just pure speculation.
Only time will tell.
My only worry is that additional work may be needed on some of the fleet as they have been left out in the London winter, so could need some repair work as Concorde is used to being very dry due to high temperatures during the supersonic cycle.
I am waiting for the time when one of Concordes troublesome rudders or elevons seperates again at mach2, as they are made from a bonded material. As we all know it is not a big issue at all, but the press will love it!!
