A380-Where Would You Sit : Top Or Bottom Deck?

Sun Jun 17, 2001 12:55 am

Just wondering where you would like to sit on your first flight on the A380. I think I would prefer the top since you wouldn't have to worry about the top deck falling on you during an emergency if you were sitting on the bottom.....how about you?

Of course if you are on the top deck when it fell, you'd be just as dead. Not a real threat though.
I really don't ever want ride an A380 anyway. Can you imagine the scene at the gate with 450-500 people boarding 1 airplane? It's bad enough with 350-400 as it is on a 747. (another airplane that I avoid). Oh well just my thoughts.

Yep, very true. Even when passengers are at the gate boarding a B777, the crowd is already bad enough.

Isn't the bottom supposed to be a municipal downtown practically? That would cost HHHHHUUUUUGGGGGEEEEE bucks! I would sit on top for the same whatever reason I prefer top bunk. BTW, I was boarding biz class on a UAL 747-400 SFO-ORD better than an hour before the friggin plane left the gate!  Yeah sure
I don't know, so this is my signature.
