Former CEO Of Tower Air. Where Is He Now?

Thu Jun 21, 2001 3:05 am

Tower Air, as well as its homepage have now gone completely.

About a year ago, Tower said they were filed for Chapter 11 only. But at the end, they were filed for Chapter 7 and they went bankrupt.

A few of their B 747s were bought by Voyager and will start flying soon.

Where is that guy now? The Former CEO who claims to be the only Airline CEO in an Airport........ Is he hidding somewhere?

Also, any chance for Tower in the future? I doubt it.

Yes, he is in hiding at the top of stairwell 2E at Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport. You should drop by and say hi sometime.
It's a new day. Every moment matters. Now, more than ever.

I believe Morris Nachtomi is in hiding in Israel.

He was the biggest piece of scum to ever run an airline, Carl Icahn included.

Morris - I Know Where He Is

He has run away to his homeland. But someone of his familey still lives in Long Island, NY. The guy is sitting on 49 Million. Plus what ever he has in his son's bank account and his daughters. He owned 73% of Tower Air and collected at one point most of there 500 Million profits. That was in the good old days. The way the law works under a corporation his is not liable for Tower's debts. Infact he resigned May 1, 2000 after firing employees and collecting what they owed him. He was a nice guy though , just a tipical business man. He ran away fearing that he would get arrested by the SEC and the FBI, although he wouldn't get convicted I wouldn't want to be 63years old in central booking in NYC nor be held in jail overnight. and the police love to pick on rich people's crimes. If he got arrested his bank accounts whould be frozen.

P.S. did I mention that he charged up a storm on Tower's credit cards during the bankruptcy.

For tohse of you defending Morris; Get off the bad crack and look at the facts. He screwed pilots, mechanics and FAs out of $20 million in back pay. There was a website not long ago that is now defunct that was www.idemandloyalty.com. Tower's incident/accident rating was 13 times worse than the old Valujet. Tower owed millions to Revlon, Sears Tools and victoria's Secret (go figure that one ou) Like a coward he flees to Isreal to avoid possible prosecution by the IRS for back taxes.
