DC3 Pilots.

Anyone out there old enough to have flown a DC3 and if so, can you tell me something about the experience. It still has to be one of the all time good-looking airliners.

Old enough to have flown the DC-3? I personally know a pilot flying DC-3s now whose great grandfather flew them in the 1940s. The way things are, I would not be at all suprised to find his great grandchildren flying a DC-3 (If I were to live that long). I really believe that if there is fuel available in the year 2136, there will be a 200th anniversary flight of A DC-3.

BTW, from what I've heard talking to pilots of the 3, it is a joy to fly, except in a rainstorm. The windows leak rather much.
