Sonic Cruiser? A380? An Unconventional Response

Mon Jun 25, 2001 5:41 am

The A380 is big, o.k., but "big" sometimes means "hollow" and "unmoveable".
The Sonic Cruiser will be fast, o.k., but in our fast spinning world I think someone is "rich" who continues to show the ability to move slower than he or she neccessarely has to. Ever readt The Discovery of Slowness by Sten Nadolny? Then you know what I mean.
Want comfort? Then sit in the garden or rest in your bed and hug your Teddybear (whoever this is  Insane ).

I take adventure over comfort. Look here:

Got a good hammer there NoUFO, you really nailed reality on this one.

As for my choice between the mountain and the airplane, the mountain easily wins. But the DHC-7 would be a great way to see the mountain.

Thanks for the perspective

Was that mountain in the US or EU? I'll say if the mountain or the plane looks better when I get my answer.

Oh, yes I did! Being typically german I take everything darn serious!  Sleepy

Ok., I checked out the Editors Choice Selection once and searched the database for aircraft I like.
