What Airport Is This?

Mon Jun 25, 2001 1:31 pm

Where is this airport? ...............................

Looks nice from above doesn't it? ...........

Hint: The above facility ranked 86th busiest in the world in 1999 (based on pax count), serving 10,598,631 passengers. (It ranked right in between Memphis and Jeddah.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy)

Is it John Wayne Airport in Orange County? That's what the terminal looks like to me.
At Eastern, we earn our wings every day!

AJ ....... YOU WIN!! Nagoya it is indeed!

(You didn't cheat did you....by right-clicking and hitting "properties"? This would have given you the answer.
If you right-clicked, your prize of 3 Eastern barf bags will not be sent to you!!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy)

No cheating...I could see the JAS special schemes, and the layout matched with the single runway and JASDF apron on the other side  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Hi LAX,

Yeah I guessed and posted and saw that I was beaten to the buzzer by a couple of minutes.

Thanks for the ++ comments on the latest uploads, I have never photographed at Nagoya, but from what I have heard, it is very very photography friendly, as are most Japanese airtports.
