ED Class On EVA Air

Thu Jun 28, 2001 7:06 am

EVA Air (Taiwan based) offers an "ED" (Evergreen Deluxe) class that is (supposedly) only slightly higher in price compared to "Economy" but the seats are wider and have more leg room (a big plus for long haul flights). I know a few of my friends have used this option for their parents' visit from India to the US and back. They all say it is well worth the extra fare.

1. Has anyone flown ED class from the US to India and back?
2. If so, could you share your experiences (eg. how much more did you pay compared to economy class?, is it worth the extra cost? how were the connections?)
3. Could you send me a list of travel agents in the US who offer discounted rates on EVA ED class?

Thanks

EVA Air don't fly to India. However, it's division, EVA Air Cargo, operates MD-11 freighter to Mumbai, India.

Only 747 and MD-11 flights has ED class, which mainly serves long-haul flight.
