When Will Qantas's Leased B 747-436 Leave?

Thu Jun 28, 2001 11:44 am

Qantas usually put its leased B 747-436 from BA on the HKG-SYD route.

I myself, prefer the B 747-438s owned by Qantas and I really hope that they will come to Hong Kong again.

Can anyone tell me WHEN will this leased B 747-436 aircraft go back to BA? I suppose the lease is going to expire in about a year or two. Will they renew the lease? Or will they simply return it back to BA?

Also, when will Qantas resume flying their own B 747-438s to HKG?

I heard that Qantas is going to stop using the 747s and start using more 727s. The 747s are too big.

As discussed Before VH-NLH will be with Qantas while their B744's are being PTV equipped. At least another year or so.

Hey Tim! Long time no see! How are you?

I see. So when will we see Qantas's B 747-438s flying into HKG again? In one year's time?

If I fly in August, is there a chance that I can fly on QF's B 747-438?
