"Airliner World" July Issue/old Toronto Picture

Fri Jun 29, 2001 11:43 am

Anybody catch the pre-1991 (no Terminal 3, and no land developpment for it) aerial picture of Toronto-Pearson in the July issue of "Airliner World"? The latest issue of "Airports International" (trade magazine I get at work) has the exact same picture in it.

Too bad the good people at YYZ couldn't send the magazines a more recent picture to better publicize their airport. It seems to me that this would have been a great chance to promote the new terminal with either pictures or drawings.

Yes, I saw that picture and it did not fully correspond with the thumbnail map published alongside it, so I concluded that it was an old picture.

That is not the way to promote an airport.

Yup I was surprised there was no diagram of the new terminal...nothing.
