Sabena Versus Swissair

Fri Jun 29, 2001 11:36 pm

I got a deal I could not refuse (the "bargain" connection on Expedia) to fly from BOS to ZRH on Sabena in October. I flew Sabena once many years ago on an A310 (not too bad). The transatlantic flights will be on A330 and A340 planes. I have flown on SR A330 once (and never again) and I would like to know how the service and comfort (in cattle class, of course) compares between Sabena and Swissair? Most importantly, do they have the same horrendous seats (at least for tall people like myself) as SR? Is the food as bad as on SR? Do I need a prescription for Prozac, or will alcohol be sufficient??

U need prozac. Sabena's seating is exactly the same as Swissairs. Everything is the same.

RJ100 - SR was definitely bad enough not to fly it again. As I said Sabena was not too bad the last time I flew with them

O.K., I hope you'll have a better flight this time.
Anyway, maybe SR just had a bad day.
Enjoy your trip!
