Just read that Liverpool Airport is to be renamed after the former Beatle John Lennon.
The renaming ceremony will commence on Monday 2nd July with Yoko Ono present.
I don't know what the official new name is, maybe John Lennon Intl???
Do you think this will help Liverpool's future expansion plans???
What about it's more appropriate to name airports after dead people? Only kings and presidents can be named airports after while they're still alive. Think about Saddam Hussein International Airport . At least that's a rule when naming streets etc. in Holland. So I hope it will take another 30 years before we'll see a Paul McCartney airport or bridge.
nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?
