NW To Resume KHH April/May 2002

I found this report from udnnews.com, back in mid-june this year.

Northwest already announces that it's current 4x weekly KHH-KIX flight will be suspended from September, along with KUL.

The reason why NW is suspending KHH-KIX is because of their DC10s are old, and the load factor in the first season is not really good.

However, Northwest Airlines is likely to resume KHH-KIX as a DAILY flight using MEDIUM-size jet, from April or May in 2002.


What does this mean? Medium-Size jet? Isn't DC10 a MEDIUM-size jet?

It means that the DC-10 will be replaced with likes of either 757-200 or -300.
