CRJ-900 Regional, Take-Off/Land

Tue Jul 03, 2001 7:21 pm

hey guys and girls,
just curious what the minimum possible runway length would be for the CRJ-900.. in thier website it states 1878m/1565m at max payload... what restrictions would be needed if possible for a 1200m runway? thanks for your help.

All I know is the CRJ-700's takeoff distance will be shorter than the -500 due to the inclusion of slats. I'm sure they'll keep the slats on the -900 series, but whether or not the slats overcome the wieght, I do not know.
