DL's daily service from HNL to LAX and SFO and OGG to LAX, used L-1011s exclusively. They have been replaced by 764s. When DL resumes non-stop service to ATL and DFW, which is scheduled for the fall, they will use 764s.
Although the L10s were old and didn't have the sophisticated PTVs or footrests that 764s now offer in first class, the L10 was wider and you had a feeling of spaciousness. Also, three engines are always better than two, especially over the pacific.
