Airlines In The Works?

Thu Jul 12, 2001 10:30 pm

Does anybody know of any proposed start ups in the works? I know Carl Icahn has been looking for an airline to kill, opps! I mean buy, but since he hasn't found one I get this bad feeling he may try to start his own.

Anybody else heard of any other proposed start up carriers?

My guess is that with the slowing economy and the TW/AA merger, and the still uncertain outcome of UA/US, I don't think we'll be seeing any new liveries in the sky any time soon.
