A Day In The Life Of An Aircraft

Sat Jul 14, 2001 1:45 am

Can someone who works for an airline give an example of a day in the life of a specific aircraft with airports visited and flight times. It would be great to see this for a 737/320 type a/c as well as a widebody (777/340).

How about this, one of C3K's A330-200s on a transpacific routing to Sydney  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Lets say C-GGWC from Vancouver to Sydney via Honolulu and Brisbane.

Sunday:
CMM779
Depart YVR 1935 arrive HNL 2245
Turnaround 1:30hrs
Depart HNL 0015 arrive BNE 0600 +1
Turnaround 0:50min
Depart BNE 0650 arrive SYD 0820
Park for 4:40hrs

CMM780
Depart SYD 1310 arrive BNE 1435
Turnaround 1:00hrs
Depart BNE 1534 arrive HNL 0440 (same day)
Turnaround 1:30hrs
Depart HNL 0610 arrive YVR 1445 (Tuesday afternoon)

C3K's A332 fleet has an average daily utilization rate of 14 hours per day which is alot for a twin engined jetliner.

Here are a couple.

And the legendary Ship 7007, a B777-232ER:

These pieces of info actually cover a couple of days, but you get the picture. Interesting also to see how Ship 7007 is doing the thankless MCO turns tomorrow.

It's a new day. Every moment matters. Now, more than ever.

Everything about flying into MCO is thankless. You won't find many crews who like the MCO runs. They're filled with families taking their 2.3 children to see the damn mouse.
