Delta Business Elite/Two Class Configurations

Sat Jul 14, 2001 2:28 am

What does everyone think about airlines having Two classes international instead of three? I know I flew Business Elite and thought the seat impressive and Comfortable, but I have never flown other airlines' business or international first products. Does this mark the airline as a cheaper carrier than the airlines with 3 class configurations? Would you rather have a Two Class Configuration with a better Business class or a regular 3 Class configuration?

No, but a one-class configuration does.

Business class in a 2 class arrangement will always be better than in a 3 class arrangement, so always fly 2 class.

I have to disagree with Richardw. I've always flown US Airways transatlantic. The A330 is a three-class arrangement while the 762 is a two-class arrangement. The service and configuration of the A330 is superior to their service and configuration on the 762.

The reason that the A330 config and service might be better is that the 762 is an older plane. Also, two class Business is USUALLY better but not in the cases of British Airways (lay flat business seats) and Singapore Airlines ( I have heard that SQ has the best overall Business Class)
