Anyone know the significance of the "Chatham Historic Dockyard"? I have no idea what that's all about.

The new Union Jack tailfin design is based on an old naval ensign originaly made at Chatham dockyard(now closed) hence the name

The Union Flag scheme is based on Nelson's flag he used and his fleet was based at Chatham, hence Chatham Historic Dockyard etc.
