UA Dropping ATL-MIA?

Thu Jul 19, 2001 5:32 am

I noticed in UA's schedule they are dropping their ATL-MIA flight beginning on October 31. I know that the primary reason for having this flight is to feed the Miami flights to GRU, GIG, EZE, and SCL. Any reasons as to why the ATL-MIA is being dropped? I'm guessing not enough passengers feeding into these UA flights from MIA and now since DL serves GRU, GIG, EZE, and SCL from ATL, UA must have been losing passengers.
