You need a UHF/VHF scanner, I highly reccommend Radio Shack's (believe it or not) Pro 29 model. I think it's the only one they have but it's awesome. You can program 60 channels into it. You can use headphones. It's quite versatile. However it is expensive....$270 + tax out here in Alberta, not sure what it would be out there. Also you might have to get them to order one in for you as their number in stock isn't very high (not exactly a high selling item...unless the whole population of the area around the shop are aviation freaks like us  Nuts) It has good range, I actually picked up Vancouver centre one day at YYC. I've had lots of fun listening for hours, sometimes I bring it with me on my way to work.

Well, hope this helps!!!

Radio Shack!!!! EVIL! EVIL! Acutally, that is the ONE GOOD ITEM they make. Most of the rest is a pile of BS.

You'll also need to find out what the frequencies are at YUL, I think there's a website that lists frequencies but I don't know the addy.

>>Airlinelover......I know what you mean, when I heard that Radio Shack made the best one's, I was like What?! Doesn't Panasonic or Sony make a better one?
You'd think they would, they make everything else under the sun.

Regards,

Kris
