Second Flight On Sat.

Fri Jul 27, 2001 6:04 am

Hi, over the summer Continental Airlines started a second flight on Saturdays into TGU. It comes in two hours after the normally scheduled flight comes in. Why doesnt continental bring in a slightly larger aircraft. If they would bring in a 737-800 as opposed to their -700. Would that save money. Their flights during the week are normally packed so they should just go for a larger airplane on the route. TGUMAN

I guess they find the 700 as the perfect aircraft for the route, cause at SJU the standard equipment used on the SJU-EWR route was the 800 but they have been bringging in the 757 now.

Thanks, Chepos. Yeah iguess the -700 is the best for the approach. plus the way i have seen the -700 use up the whole runway here it would mostlikely be scary in an -800 or maybe even a -300. TGUMAN
