SIA´new 772ER, 9V-SVB, will arrive to AMS from Seattle at 14:15 (netherlands´ time) 3hours and 15mins late, and it will depart at 15:30 3hours and 20mins.

Why did it fly via Amsterdam, this aircraft could fly from Seattle to Singapore non stop via the Pacific (empty).

Also, can anyone explain why they use SQ077 for a delivery flight ??. I mean this sounds like a normal flight number.

SQ77 as with 9V-SVA flew this route as a proving route that the 777 is able to fly the future SQ35/36.

I'm with you on this one Hkgspotter1. Well done to Boeing for? Organising the SEA-ORD-AMS-SIN? That was done by, I believe, SIA. These are called proving flights and are nothing special. They are done by airlines who want to try out a particular aircraft type on a new route.
