1. I imagine that the DC-10-30's on the HNL-DFW/ORD routes will be replaced with 767-300ER's.
2. I don't know why they did that. The only thing I can tell you is that if you saw an American DC-10 in Denver, that means it came from Dallas. But I don't think they'll do that anymore, that flight is now replaced with MD-80 or 757 equipment.
3. I don't think that the DC-10-30's are operated on flights other than HNL-DFW/ORD. From LAX to HNL, I think it's a 10, not a 30. All DC-10 transcon flights are 10's.
Beginning of this year, American had 18 DC-10's left: 13 10's and 5 30's. By the end of this year, they will have 9 DC-10's left: 4 10's and 5 30's. Those remaining DC-10's will be phased out during the year 2000, so they will all be gone in 2001.
I think that in six months from now, all transcon flights will be 767's.
The 727's will be gone in 2004.
Have a good night.
