I would believe those shots. I was in ORF a few weeks ago and a few of the approaches I saw came right in over the harbour.

I have flown over the Norfolk region many times on the PHL-FLL routing, and these ships are visible from the air at 33,000 feet as well...its easy to pick out the carriers, and I can see their numbers and thus identify them.

How far were you from the airport. I was looking for runways but they were not in sight!!!  Smile
Its better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air than be in the air wishing you were on the ground. Fly safe!
