BAX DC-8 Touch And Go At Austin

Sun Jul 29, 2001 2:24 pm

In my short hour and a half visit to Austin today, I noticed that a BAX DC-8 was almost doing several touch and go's. Was this for crew training, or just a joy ride  Wink/being sarcastic ?

I hope it was a touch and go. They move a hell of a lot of freight out there to Ireland via DFW. Maybe they plan on operating an Intl flight. Intergrators need to learn to leave the flying to passenger airlines, we're going there already!

Not sure of the reason for it, but I saw the same thing a couple weeks ago.
