728JET To America?

Tue Jul 31, 2001 5:35 am

Last year Fairchild-Dornier made a promotion tour through several south-american countries to promote the company, the 328JET (which was used as a demonstrator) and the new 728JET-family. Several airlines were thought to be interested in this plane including Aerocontinente and Southern Winds. Does someone know if they are still interested and if there are other carriers from both North- and South-America which have shown interested in these planes?
