Helicopters Instead Of Aircrafts?

Fri Aug 03, 2001 9:01 pm

Does any airline use helicopters instead of aircrafts for any scheduled flights?

I know that Greenlandair (http://www.greenlandair.gl) has helicopters in their fleet, but I don't if they are used for charter flights or regular service.

Yes, some examples are from Nice, France to Monte Carlo, and Malta to Gozo (With an Mi-8!!!).

I'm told that NCE-MCM is the busiest helicopter route in the world with one about every 3 mins on the GP days and more than 1 every 10 mins at other times.

You might get other routes out of Nice to places such as Cannes and St.Tropez.

There are others but I can't think of them now.
