A while ago, I heard that Northwest would be expanding its Pacific hub at Seattle. Does anyone know what they are planning to do and when they plan to begin this project?

Northwest Airlines plans to expand flights to Kuala Lumper and other cities in South Asia from Seattle via Tokyo. Northwest Airlines dominates Seattle for international flights and will expand after the Open Sky aggrement was signed with Japan but then the Asian economy went down but when the economy inproves they will expand more espically from Seattle.. Currently Northwest Airlines flies to Tokyo, Osaka, Honolulu, Anchorage, Detroit, Minneapolis, Memphis, Boston and Amsterdam from Seattle. They also have a strong alliance with Seattle-Based airlines, Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air.
