B6 (JetBlue)

That's all I can think of at the moment.
Why is flying so expensive? And why is flying well so much more?

And that's IT. I was phobic about flying for a long time and it's still not my favorite thing, but the more I learn about it the better I feel about putting my carcass in a blue vinyl seat and going somewhere.

This is in somewhat chronological order, and just for fun, I'm going to add some of the models I've flown on that I can remember. Some airlines I've flown on multiple times over the years:

Pan Am: 707, 747, A300
Japan Airlines: DC-8, 747, DC-10, 777
Hawaiian: (What did they fly in the late 1960's?), MD-80
Austrian: DC-9

Eastern: 727
All Nippon Airways: YS-11, 747, 777, 767

United: DC-8, 727, 747
Northwest Orient: 747, DC-9
People Express: 727
Piedmont: 737
New York Air: MD-80 or 90
Delta: 727, 767, 737
Delta Connection: Shorts something or other from PVD to LGA, and some two propeller jobbie that had a hump in the middle that you had
to climb over from Boston to Waterbury, CT!

American Airlines: 727, DC-10, MD-80, 737, 757, 767, 777, A320
British Airways: 747, 777, A320
US Air: 737, A320

Hopefully I'll catch a ride on the 787 someday!

Here is my complete list - with operating carrier and marketing carrier (if applicable):

1. Air Wisconsin (as American Eagle, as US Airways Express) - ZW/AWI
2. America West Airlines - HP/AWE
3. American Airlines - AA/AAL
4. Compass Airline (as Delta Connection, as Northwest Airlink) CP/CPZ
5. Delta Air Lines - DL/DAL
6. Endeavor Air (as Delta Connection) - 9E/EDV
7. Envoy Air (as American Eagle) - MQ/ENY
8. ExpressJet Airlines (as Delta Connection, as United Express) - EV/ASQ
9. Mesa Airlines (as American Eagle, as United Express) - YV/ASH
10. Mesaba Airlines (as Northwest Airlink) - XJ/MES
11. Midwest Express Airlines - YX/MEP
12. Northwest Airlines - NW/NWA
13. Piedmont Airlines (as US Airways Express) - PT/PDT
14. Pinnacle Airlines (as Delta Connection, as Northwest Airlink) - 9E/FLG
15. PSA Airlines (as US Airways Express) - OH/JIA
16. Skyway Airlines, The Midwest Express Connection - AL/SXY
17. SkyWest Airlines (as Delta Connection, as United Express) - OO/SKW
18. US Airways - US/AWE

I almost got to fly GoJet for the first time a few days ago, but my plans changed and I ended up on a mainline Delta flight instead. Interestingly, I've worked on a number of GoJet aircraft, but never flown on them. It was the same with Chautauqua - I worked their planes, but never flew them before they were folded into Shuttle America (now Republic)
Flown on: Air Wisconsin, America West, American, Compass, Delta, Endeavor Air, Envoy, ExpressJet, GoJet, KLM, Mesa, Mesaba, Midwest Express, Northwest, Piedmont, Pinnacle, PSA, Skyway, SkyWest, United, US Airways

That's all! Best: Turkish Airlines by far (their food in economy is WOW). Can't say which is the worst, I've flown with Aer Lingus on a small hops to LHR and AMS but they do have a lot of room for improvement...

First post and a question

On a flight after a recent merger an Airwest flight and ticket LAX - MRY was flown by a Bonanza DC-9 (10) with crew, service items etc
all as Bonanza, can that count as Bonanza or does it need to be logged as Airwest. Not Hughes Airwest (the bananas)

I had a similar dilemma with LAN/LATAM. I booked prior to the merger date, then they merged and all the gate announcements/boarding cards etc were LATAM, the crew were in LAN uniform on all flights, but only 2 out of 6 flights were in LATAM livery. If I am to be consistent with my flight log and my spotters/photographic log then I have to log what the aircraft is physically painted as, and so I only have 2 flights on LATAM listed, and the rest entered as LAN.
