Lists of Top 15 world airports for non-stop routes/serving most countries/served by most airlines in summer 2018

According to anna.aero, the analysis does not account for all flights scheduled for the entire summer season, but is based on a typical week in the peak period, in this case the week commencing 24 July 2018. Some airlines have not filed their entire summer schedules yet, but taking this peak week as an example should give a good snapshot of what is to come.

I would have thought LAX would be in there some where to.

Interesting. I would have thought IST would be #1 in most countries served with Turkish Airlines claiming to fly to 121 countries. But I guess that makes a lot of their destinations not non-stop?

I'm not questioning the research behind this but I'd like to know which 19 new nonstop destinations FRA gained and which 9 IST lost from S17 to S18 honestly. TK isn't dropping any destinations this summer and in fact adding more.

FRA pretty much gained Ryanair in the past year so that makes sense.
