727 v.s MD-80

Well I will be buying a tickit and was wondering what would be a better aircraft to fly a 727 of MD-80?

depends what you are looking for. The 727 is more fun (for me) because there is not so many around anymore. The MDs are newer and there are still thousands around (at least in Europe).

The 727 is the older of the two and will begin to leave major fleets in 2003 but the MD-80 is new and more comfortable. I'm going on a 727 in November and that would be the aircraft I would choose. You have a lot of time to go on a MD-80.
