747 Over Sydney Harbour

Sat Mar 03, 2001 1:23 am

I have seen, although perhaps not on this site, an excellent in-flight photograph of a 747 (perhaps an australasian or far east airline) over Sydney Harbour with the Opera House in the background. I would dearly love to find this picture if anyone knows which one I might be referring to. Any help appreciated.

Thanks, Sean

The picture you would be talking about , is a Qantas 747 promotional flight only. Taken years and years ago.

The aircraft is either VH-OJH or VH-OJA.

You can go to the Qantas Web Page ( would post page but against the rules !) and in the SCHEDULES page , down the bottom is the Qantas Picture Group or something.
The pictures are up-dated every week ( in a cycle - mixed ) and you the photo your talking about comes up alot.

The aircraft is VH-OJH - the very same a/c that crashed in BKK.

If you want, I believed I saved the image a while ago, and if I can find it, then I will e-mail it to you. If not, I'm sure it will come up again on the site.
