The one issue I have with the International terminal is that it looks like DFW could have maximised gatespace by making it a circular terminal similar to the 4 current ones. Instead, it looked like they minimised it by making it more of a rectangular shape. Had they made it circular, they probably could have added 5 or 7 more gates if they wanted to.
Go to dfwairport.com and somewhere(i think under capital development), there is a section on Terminal D with current photos of the construction(for the people mover I think).
