Landing At JFK

Thu Aug 21, 2003 11:57 pm

Does anyone have any photos of Concorde BA001 (G-BOAF) during its approach (Carnesie approach I think) and landing at New York's JFK on July 12th 2003?

Come on somebody must have a photo of G-BOAF landing at JFK on Saturday 12th July 2003, I can't believe there were no photographers at JFK that evening. There were about 4 photographers at LHR when we left (that I know of).

Canarsie, OK I'll have to remember that. Why is it the canarsie approach has such a bad rep.?

Did you get a glimpse of alpha foxtrot as she was on the approach?

i saw concorde on approach only twice. once was on the subway going towards coney island. the second time i was driving home on the belt parkway, and she came in on the canarsie vor approach. it's a good thing too, i was falling asleep in traffic!

canarsie a bad rep, never heard of that. it's not that difficult of an appraoch in my mind, it's only a VOR.
