Braniff Jellybean 707-227's

Tue Mar 02, 2004 6:05 am

I am desperately trying to research Braniff 707-227's in their multi coloured period from 1966 to 1971. I would like to build an accurate 144 scale model of one of these brightly coloured beasts. Airliners.net has a poor selection, but I did find a few on braniffinternational.org, but again of mediocre quality. Any one got any useful photos they would like to post or any information where I could track any down. Many thanks in advance.

I might have a postcard that you can have. I think the color of the -227 is an ochre or beige.

Try this link...
http://www.geocities.com/~aeromoe/fleets/bn.html
It lists all of Braniff's colors that they used over the jetliner years. It even mention the actual shade of a set color. Good luck on your model. Regards.
