Air Force One At Daytona Beach

Tue Mar 09, 2004 8:58 pm

There is this amazing picture of Air Force One roaring over the Daytona 500 Racetrack. It happened about two weeks ago. Anybody with a link to the picture?

Thanks.

I have that pic in last weeks copy of ROCK

It seems so close, yet if u look, hardly any of the crowd have turned to face it, would it not be making a HUGE noise, and would they not all want to see AIRFORCE ONE that low and close.

I had to look a few times as i thought i could not see Engine one (or is it four) but found it
Where does the time go???

It's engine one you had trouble finding. The engines are numbered from the pilots left from where he sits.

And the more telephoto the lense is, the less depth of field is apparent.

Keep in mind, this is at a racetrack with about 43 cars at speedes of 212 mph, and most of these people dont care about planes, they are there for a reason, To watch a race.

Even if they were there to watch a race, wouldn't you just look up due to the shear bulk of an aircraft flying so low just above you?
